"You are what you eat." True. What your body ingests and your skin's condition are closely related. Food not only fuels your body but it can heal and transform your skin.
Fats
Include more fats in your diet! You skin and hair will thank you. Some fats to include are: avocado, olive oil, raw nuts and seeds, coconut oil and salmon.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C helps with collagen production, which helps with aging skin. Foods highest in vitamin C include: papaya, bell peppers, broccoli, brussel sprouts, strawberries, pineapple, oranges, kiwi, cantaloupe, and cauliflower.
No sugar
Sugar is super inflammatory for our skin. Acne is often caused by sugar. Sugar causes activity in your oil glands to increase, which then triggers inflammation.
